Okee so the other day, someone made a post on how they play the Samurai Love Ballad Party Jap version in English.
So I slipped in my technique in doing so in the comments and it seemed like not a lot of people are known to the methods, and I decided 'LETS MAKE IT KNOWN TO THE WORLD!!'
So shout-out to @inabadromance for the inspiration of this post

°• METHOD 1 •°
This is the main method which by far is the fastest to set up and use, works on all platforms (mobile, PC, PS Vita, etc) and is the one I use for literally anything.
So here it goes : ..Google Translate
Hey! Don't leave! Give it a chance!! I swear it's not as bad as you think!! T^T
So on the Google translate app, they have a picture option where you can take a picture with your phone ( or use an existing photo) and it scans it and after like half a second it gives you the translation.
Which means if you wanna play a Japanese game on your PS Vita, all you need to do is have the Google translate app on your phone and take pictures of it. Or if you wanna play a mobile game, you just have to screenshot the scene and then have GT translate it for you. ( Hooray SLBP lovers!! We can finally play the Jap ninja version!!)
![]()
In the start, GT has been known for having really bad translations, but it has improved greatly since then. The translation comes out really fast and it's most of the time really accurate. I have some pictures I found of Hakuouki SSL online and translated them as an example :
Pic 1
:point_up_2: :point_up_2: :point_up_2: As you can see in this photo, the translation is not 100% smooth, but you still know what they're saying.
For example of this photo, sometimes they misspell the names, bc they aren't sure how to translate it into English but if it really bothers you, you can look at the red underline in the photo to see the actual name.
You can choose to highlight and translate only some sentences or all
I'd say the only con about this method is that if you have slow wifi, the translation will also be slow ( since it needs wifi ).
P.S. ( Make sure the picture is in focus, so the translations can be as accurate as they can be!)
°• METHOD 2 •°
This method would have the most accurate translations, except it's only available to few games.
And that is, translation blogs online!!
( Imma use Diabolik Lovers as an example)
All you have to do is look up something like 'Diabolik Lovers : Haunted Dark Bridal English translations' and they give you the script of the game.

If you can't find any translation scripts for a specific otome, there are also people who make summaries for it.
This is also helpful to have with Method 1, if there's a sentence you don't understand, the summaries can help clear up the fog.
°• METHOD 3 •°
The last method is VNR ( Visual Novel Reader)
I don't know much about this--I don't really know how this works or how to work it.
All I know is that you need a PC to do it lolol. There are probably more detailed info on it online if you look it up, but don't ask me about it because the answer will be ' I don't know' :joy:
BONUS--How to download apps 'not available in your country'
( I'm gonna use the SLBP Jap version as an example)
So if you ever tried to download the SLBP Jap app in the Google play store, you probably got something like this :
* Tear*
Welp there's many other ways to get the app and imma show you how. Astm c-881 free download.
So you'll need an app called 'Qooapp'
( It's a third party app-- you won't find it in the app store so you'll have to look it up to find the download link)
And once you have the app, it might be a little confusing, with Japanese words all over the place, but to find the app, just type in 'voltage' in the search bar
And yay there it is

Okay that's the end of it. I hope this was a least a little helpful to y'all. Thanks for reading :sparkling_heart: :sparkling_heart:

Okay, since a lot of people asked how I played the game and since Instagram won't let me post links here it is.
First off, you'll need an emulator since the game is for psp only Link: www.ppsspp.org/ Just download and install it Then the game Haunted Dark Bridal Link: www.mediafire.com/download/lbb… To open the files you'll need Winrar, if you don't have it here's the link Link: www.rarlab.com/download.htm After downloading ALL 3 files, unpack them and you get a map with an .iso file in it. Copy paste the file to your desktop Open the emulator and go to games and add the game Voila, you can play it Recommend: using a controller (ps4/ps3/xbox 360..) If you use a ps4 controller, then you need software to be able to use it on the pc Link: ds4windows.com/ Translation for Haunted Dark Bridal: www.facebook.com/notes/krystal… Here's another link: dialovertoenglish.tumblr.com/h… Another: yumemirusekai.wordpress.com/ta… Now the game More Blood Link: nicoblog.org/psp/diabolik-love… Again, scroll down and download the 4 .rar files Unpack them and copy paste the .iso file to your desktop Translation More Blood: akuichansera.tumblr.com/DLMB-M… Ah and yes, I've drawn this fan art of Ashleigh-senpai and Azusa
I'm having a bit of trouble for the second step, It's stating, 'The key you provided for file access was invalid'. I'm aware this comment is not up to date but i would appreciate help thank you so much!

how did you get the first one to work?? i dont know what she means by unpacking it and getting a map with an .iso file and copy and pasting it please help
i tried downloading more blood but it wont let me extract them, it says i need the following volume of something to extract it-
how did you get the first game to work?? i dont understand what she means by unpacking them and getting a map with an .iso file and copy and pasting it
If you use the 2nd translation link, you can shrink both windows side by side so u can read along while you play.( or set up 2 screens)
I can only choose Ayato, Kanato and Raito's route..why's that?
Hello there ^^, I recently downloaded the game. I was really excited when I saw it working but the sad thing is.. It's Japanese T-T, is there a way to turn it into English Language???
I have the game working and it's going great, the only issue is that it won't let me save my progress (even when I save in the save slot) and I have to start over each time. How do I save my game so that it saves where I'm at?
I'd assume you've already found the solution to this but if you haven't, here's how it works:
Since it's not the actual game but the game on PPSSPP, you save the game through save state files. To do so, 1. Click on 'file' in the top left corner 2. Click 'Save state file' 3.Create a new file or select an already existing one to overwrite and click save To load the game 1.Click load save file/load 2.Select which save state you wish to continue from There is a handy tool called ' save state' This saves your data temporarily, so if you are unsure about making a choice in games, save it as a state and load the state again to go back if you want to choose another option instead. This is good for quick, temporary saves. Hope this helped.
Ah thanks! I figured it out on my own eventually but I appreciate the help.
I checked the game-files and next to the ISO there is a file with languages in it. I only have no idea how to incorporate it into the actual game file.
Is there a way to download a english patch so I can read this?
[Not the artist]
No, the original game is in Japanese only, that's why they've also linked translation pages [NOTE: not everything has been translated!] It IS pretty easy to follow however. But if you want to read, you'll have to reference a translator the entire time.
Aww that's upsetting. But thank you for letting me know!
-- I download the game and unpack them from nicoblog but it only comes up with Nicoblog url x-x
anyway to fix that? -- Comments are closed.
